The
purpose of this document is to provide some basic instructions to execute two
Labview files, sound1.vi and image.vi, on the PC-1 computer.
1. Logging
on to the PC-1 computer as a terumo_bct user is required.
2. On
the desk, locate the “PC-1_project” folder
3. Double
click on the “PC-1_project” folder to open it.
4.
Double click on the “Labview2014” folder to open
it.
5.
Make sure the “sound1.vi” and “image.vi” files
are available in the “Labview2014” folder
To execute the sound.vi file, users must perform the
following steps:
1.
On the PC-1
computer, click on the “Start”, “All program” and “LabView 2014 SP1(32bit)” program. The LabVIEW myRIO 2014 window
will open as shown in Figure 1.

2. Select the “File” tab and choose “open”.
3. Locate and click on the “Desktop” and the “PC-1_project” to open the folder.
4. Click the “Labview2014” folder to open the folder.
5. Click on the “sound1.vi” file and the “OK” button to open the file as shown in Figure 2.

6. The labview “sound1.vi Front Panel” window will open as shown in Figure 3.
7. On the “sound1.vi Front Panel” window, click on the “sound1 path” and locate the *.wav that users want to run. Example of selecting the path to the first sound file is marked as step 1 in Figure 3
8. Click on the “sound2 path” and locate the *.wav that users want to run. Example of selecting the path to the second sound file is marked as step 2 in Figure 3
9. Click on the “Run” button to execute the file. Example of clicking the Run button is marked as step 3 in Figure 3.
10. The results will display on the sound1.vi Front Panel” window as shown in Figure 3.

To execute the image.vi file, users must perform the following steps:
1. On the PC-1 computer, click on the “Start”, “All program” and “LabView 2014 SP1(32bit)” program. The LabVIEW myRIO 2014 window will open as shown in Figure 4.

2. Select the “File” tab and choose “open”.

5. Click on the “images.vi” file and the “OK” button to open the file as shown in Figure 5.

6. The labview “images.vi Front Panel” window will open as shown in Figure 6.
7. On the “image.vi Front Panel” window, click on the “path” and locate the *.png that users want to run. Example of selecting the path to the first image file is marked as step 1 in Figure 6.
8. Click on the “path2” and locate the *.png that users want to run. Example of selecting the path to the second image file is marked as step 2 in Figure 6
9. Click on the “Run” button to execute the file. Example of clicking the Run button is marked as step 3 in Figure 6
10. The results will display on the image.vi Front Panel” window as shown in Figure 6.
